Teaching style

I care deeply about making yoga inclusive and diverse.

My philosophy towards teaching yoga is based on an understanding that everybody is unique in their anatomy, experience, work life and home situation. People seek out and arrive at yoga for different reasons (and these over time), so I strive to create a yoga space where everyone can feel welcome and able – so they can take what works for them and leave what doesn’t.

When it comes to asanas (poses) I’ll always energetically and positively encourage, but never push, and allow you to do you – the ‘simple’ poses are just as valid as the complex ones. I’m here to support and facilitate, not simply instruct (although bad jokes might happen).

It’s important to me, as a facilitator to continuously study this vast world of yoga – from anatomy to the philosophy underpinning the practice. I’m always either enrolled on a course or have a yoga book on the go!
